With three generations experience Kindons Harrogate was born from a lifelong passion for exceptional jewellery and the belief that the finest pieces deserve a second life. Rooted in Harrogate – a town with a proud tradition of fine jewellery and antiques – we have spent years cultivating expertise in vintage and designer pieces from the world's most celebrated maisons, including Christian Dior, Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, Givenchy, and beyond.

We are not a marketplace. Every piece in our collection has been personally selected, examined, and authenticated by us before it is offered to you.

How We Source

Our pieces are acquired through a carefully curated network of trusted sources: private collectors, estate sales, specialist auctions, and long-standing relationships with dealers across Europe. We travel extensively to find pieces that meet our exacting standards – items with genuine provenance, distinctive design, and enduring quality.

We are selective by nature. For every piece we list, many more are declined. Our commitment is to offer only jewellery we would be proud to wear ourselves.

Authentication & Condition Grading

Authenticity is the foundation of everything we do. Each piece undergoes a thorough assessment before it joins our collection:

• Maker's marks & signatures – We verify hallmarks, signatures, and maker's stamps against documented references for each maison and era.
• Construction & materials – We examine metalwork, stone settings, clasps, and finishes consistent with the period and house of origin.
• Provenance documentation – Where available, original boxes, papers, and receipts are noted and included.
• Expert consultation – For rare or high-value pieces, we consult with specialist appraisers and reference established auction house records.

Condition is always described honestly and in full in each product listing. We include detailed photographs so you can see exactly what you are purchasing.

Our Guarantee

We stand behind every piece we sell. If you receive an item and it is not as described, we will always make it right. We offer a 14-day return window on all purchases – simply contact us and we will guide you through the process.
